Each cuppa you pour, every cake you slice, and every dollar you raise will help women like Anne, a mum of three who is living with terminal breast cancer.

Anne was just 33 when she was first diagnosed. She’s since undergone multiple surgeries, chemo, and brain radiation. She’s faced the unimaginable – all while raising three beautiful children, including twin boys born just after treatment.

Anne says:

“They gave me 3–6 months to live, but I thought – I’m not ready yet. I’m still here for my children.

"Sweet Louise gives me joy and normal moments. A movie with my husband. Feeding animals with the kids. Grocery vouchers when things are tight.

"I’m so grateful for the kindness and support. This journey is so heavy – every bit of help means the world.”

This Sweet October event will help make these moments of comfort and care possible for women like Anne across Aotearoa.
