📚✨ BOOK WEEK PARADE! ✨📚

What a fantastic way to celebrate Book Week! 🎉 Today our school was filled with colour, creativity and some amazing book characters! 📖👑🦸🏽‍♀️🧙🏽‍♂️🐻

Our students looked incredible and it was so awesome seeing everyone getting into the spirit of the day and celebrating their favourite books and characters. ❤️📚

A BIG thank you to our amazing Literacy Team for organising the parade and creating such a fun experience for our students to enjoy. We truly appreciate all the time and effort that went into making today special! 👏🏽✨

✨ Amazing Results at Rehu Tai Speech Competition! ✨

Our students headed out today to the Rehu Tai Speech Competition, held at Al Madinah School, and came away with some incredible results! 👏🏽🔥

Year 5 - 6

Our 1st place winners, will now go on to represent Sutton Park School at the Auckland Finals next Wednesday at Dilworth, 5pm.

DAY 2 of BUDDY READING 📖

Room 2 enjoyed buddy shared reading with Room 17 today! It was wonderful to see our students reading together, supporting one another and sharing their love of books. 📚✨

Kia Ora Everyone,

As we celebrated Tonga Language Week last week, our hearts were full knowing our students took part in celebrating their language and culture and our stomachs were full too! 😋❤️

A huge mālō ‘aupito to our wonderful Sia Ua Bilingual staff and students for making the week so special.

🏆 Tongan APPA Winners 2026 🏆

On Wednesday 19th August, our Year 5–6 students represented our school at the Tongan Speech Competition, with some fantastic results:

Then on Thursday 20th August, two of our Masina Va’aia students competed in the Fagasa National Speech Competition, with our very own Fina placing 2nd! 🥈👏🏽
