My best travelling memories are when you meet the locals, experience their culture, have fun and do things, not just see things out the car window.
Here's an opportunity to have a holiday and work a bit - not too hard. To walk the black sand beaches, surf the world class breaks, tramp to a mountain hut, learn to weave flax on a marae and to say thank-you in Maori.
