🚨 RHEUMATIC FEVER AWARENESS

Rheumatic fever can start with a sore throat and, if left untreated, can cause permanent damage to the heart.

This is a reminder to get sore throats checked early, especially for our tamariki and rangatahi.

👉 If your tamaiti has a sore throat, please don’t wait it out — get it checked.

If in doubt, get it checked. Early treatment can help protect the heart. ❤️

🌱 Every dream begins with someone asking, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

As our tamariki return to kura, we’re reminded that behind every answer is a future waiting to unfold. Future kaiako, doctors, builders, artists, scientists, māmā, pāpā, leaders, kaitiaki, and changemakers. ✨

Our role as a hāpori is to nurture those dreams, walk alongside them, and create spaces where our tamariki know they can aspire to anything. Their potential is limitless when it’s grounded in identity, surrounded by aroha, and uplifted by their people. ❤️

Here’s to a new school term filled with learning, growth, confidence, and big dreams.

The school holidays are here, but your whānau’s health doesn’t take a break.

If your tamaiti has a sore throat or you have any Kiriora (skin) concerns, pop into our FREE Walk-In Clinic—no appointment needed.
