We started off in our garage, Papamoa East in December 2016. I have been manufacturing and repairing wetsuits for the better part of 45 years. I also have a full-time day job and the wetsuit repairs are a passionate service I offer to the local community and the rest of New Zealand. SUWR offers a full wetsuit repair and alteration service for your damaged an

d not-so-good fitting wetsuits. Basically, anything made from neoprene. We can also repair/replace zips and sliders on your board covers. If you have a wetsuit or board cover that needs repairing, please message me through this page, or text/phone us with your enquiry on 0277 706672. Alternatively, you can send us an email at [email protected] and we will get back to you ASAP with a quote/estimate, timeframe and process. We also have a drop off bin through the gate right side of the garage, you can leave your repairs in there at any time with your name and contact details, just message me when you do. Please make sure your wetsuit is clean, dry and free of all sand. Remember Repair, Reuse, Recycle, Repeat! The less waste in the landfill is the goal at the end of the day...

As we head into Autumn 2026 now’s a great time to pull out your winter wetsuits, give them a checkover, make sure your chest zip sliders haven’t corroded and disintegrated… any problems give me a shout and I’ll get your wettie ship shape and squared away before the winter swells start rolling 🏄🏻‍♂️

Spring is done and welcome Summer!!!
Now is a great time to get your winter wetsuits checked over, serviced and repaired so they’re ready to go for next season. Ive been repairing allot of one particular brand of wetsuit this year, seems to be an on going fault and is not being picked up in the quality control phase of manufacturing. If you have one with the internal seam tape letting go give me a shout. I can repair and alter any wetsuit brand, board-cover zip repairs or full replacements. I can fit leg zips, comfort zips, and scuppers to your dive suits. We also carry the famous SLOSH Wetsuit Wash and are now stocking MASTICE Neoprene glue tubes.

Just finished another major alteration on this Rubber Jungle Race Suit. It’s in excellent condition, customer had grown out of it. Deconstructed the sides of the suit and inserted new side stripes to make the suit bigger in the chest, waist, hips etc. Don’t get to many of them but enjoy the challenge 🤙🏼
