Got a knack for sewing or just want to help?

The Tauranga Curtain Bank is calling for volunteers to help sew linings onto curtains. We distribute these curtains out to whānau we see living in cold damp homes.🏠

Winter is starting to bite - and for too many whānau in the Bay of Plenty, staying warm is becoming harder and harder.

This SunLive article shares why we’re putting the call out for donations of heaters, wool blankets, curtains, warm clothing, and bedding to support local families this winter. Every donated item can make a real difference in helping create a warmer, healthier home. ❤️

If you have spare wool blankets in the cupboard, a heater no longer being used, or warm clothes your tamariki have outgrown, please get in touch! We'd love to hear from you.

Please help by donating, sharing the article, or spreading the word through your networks:

Team day = quality mahi + questionable coordination skills 🤪

Last Friday, our team came together for a day of reflection, big ideas, and a few intentional rabbit holes 🐰🕳️ as we explored ways to strengthen the mahi we do alongside whānau.

To keep the energy up, Jo had us doing full-body rock paper scissors and partnering up to attempt the ultimate challenge: standing up at the exact same time without toppling over 😂 Safe to say there were plenty of laughs along the way!
