Piha Campground will reopen for the upcoming summer, following a decision by Waitākere Ranges Local Board to support the resumption of overnight camping at the site.

🌿 July–September update

It’s been another busy quarter — 60 meetings and events, a new role as Transport Lead, progress on local transport projects, the reopening of Titirangi Library, and plenty of work behind the scenes on our Local Board Plan.

🚆 City Rail Link is opening this Sunday!

We’re celebrating in Glen Eden, Swanson and Sunnyvale, with heaps of free whānau fun for everyone in our community. 🎉

And if you’re keen to be part of history, we’ll be taking the first train from Swanson through the City Rail Link—join us if you can! 🚆

The first East West Line train departs Swanson at 5:23am, arriving at Maungawhau Station at 6:01am.

The first Onehunga-West Line train departs Sunnyvale at 5:19am and Glen Eden at 5:22am, arriving at Maungawhau at 5:46am.
