ONE WEEK TO GO for the logo competition!

Things to think about when designing a logo:
clarity of information
does the style suit the content
balance
interest
impact
composition
transcends different formats ie works well as on letterheads, web banners etc
originality - it doesn't closely resemble other logos
political, cultural and symbolic implication of colour combinations

At CART's Whanau Ora Day yesterday we asked young people what they hoped for their future. Here is how some of them responded....
"to take care of the water"
"to accomplish the full Iron Maori in the future"
"to do good at softball"
"to become a registered nurse"
"to record my own music album and one day be confident enough to try out for NZs Got Talent or X factor"
"Do good at college"
"To own and build my own house"
"to take care of the earth";"to take care of body and heart"
Looks like a bright future ay!
