Join us this Friday at 5pm for an engrossing night of poetry from four of Aotearoa's most preeminent poets. Poet and Featherston Booktown Director Jordan Hamel will be in conversation with Leah Dodd, Stacey Teague, and Nick Ascroft. They will be sharing their work and discussing how poetry can offer us a new way to look at the world around us and within us.

Tickets are $10 and include a glass of wine from Ben Dugdale of Martinborough Wine Merchants

What a fantastic first Pour & Explore Martinborough we had with The Bookshop Detectives Gareth and Louise Ward from Wardini Books | New Zealand

They spoke to a sold out crowd about their new smash hit Murder & Mojitos, the art of writing, and how their time as police officers has informed their bestselling books. Plus Stevie the dog was of course a massive hit.

14 August - Asher Emanuel will be discussing his book The Valley that lifts the lid on the reality of the criminal justice system in Aotearoa. Asher will be in conversation with Featherston Booktown Chair Peter Biggs.

21 August - Poetry As Perspective - Four acclaimed Aotearoa poets, Jordan Hamel, Nick Ascroft, Leah Dodd, and Stacey Teague will be discussing the ways in which poetry can offer us a new way of looking at the world around and within us.

28 August - Noelle McCarthy, Stakes In Conversation. Noelle will be chatting with Melissa from Haute Take about her new bestselling memoir takes, and how Dracula and the gothic has informed her life.
