Carers who work in our community do an incredibly important and tough job. They are a vital part of our health service and without them our most vulnerable would have to either rely on family (if available) or fend for themselves. My Nain relied on the support of carers and for that I am grateful.

We know carers do not get paid well - which is atrocious and to think they are being offered this by Nurse Maud is a slap in the face for all they do.
