Safe trekking horse!! Or teenager who wants to trek and do some jumping (he enjoys jumping too)
He doesn’t require riding everyday we have pulled him out after 2 months no issues

I'm looking for a 15–16h, mature mare or gelding, preferably a Quarter Horse/stock horse/Stationbred or a good cross.

My ideal horse would be:

• 8–16 years old

• Around 15–16h

• Solid, grunty build.

• Experienced in bush/forest riding

• Has done distance trekking.

• Has ridden alone, not just in a group.

• Calm around dogs, vehicles, water and unfamiliar terrain. Preferably been exposed to hunting/gunshots and ridden on public roads.

• Good brakes.

• Sure-footed on steep, uneven ground

• Happy to stand quietly for extended periods

• Barefoot with genuinely good feet

• An easy-going, sensible temperament

• Not to grass affected.

I live in Northland but happy to travel for the right horse. Not in a rush, just looking for the right horse.
