Vets for Kai

Last week we delivered another 10 cartons of sausages into North Canterbury food banks. This comes at a time when there is a massively increased need in our community. Thankyou to our contributing clinics PAWS Vets and Pegasus Bay Vets. We look forward to seeing more vet clinics come on board.

Thank you Vets for Kai and Vets Ravenswood for the generous donation of sausages for the Hope Community Trust Foodbank. Sausages are a favorite, in every food parcel.

They provide a range of community support services including counselling, food-bank, advocacy and budgeting support, cooked meals and cooking classes, a community garden, and community connection groups. We are really proud to support this fantastic organisation of really good, generous people.

Today we delivered another 10 cartons of sausages to local organisations that deliver food parcels to struggling North Canterbury families. These sausages will form the base for 320 family meals. Both St Barnabas Church and Hope Community Trust indicate the need for support is increasing. Vets for Kai are off to a running start in 2026. Today we delivered 192kg of sausages to Hope Charities Rangiora and St Barnabus Woodend. This will provide the base for 384 family meals in North Canterbury. Thankyou to PAWS Vet Woodend, Pegasus Bay Vets, Hellers NZ and the staff and volunteers at Hope Charities and St Barnabus.
