نظّم ممثلًا بإدارة الضرائب في مُحافظة جنوب الباطنة، ندوة تثقيفية بعنوان «الضرائب في سلطنة عُمان»، استهدفت روّاد الأعمال من أجل تعزيز الوعي بالمنظومة الضريبية، والتعريف بالحقوق والالتزامات الضريبية.

وعيٌ ضريبي… التزامٌ طوعي… وشراكةٌ تدعم التنمية والاستدامة.

A culture of compliance begins with knowledge.

Represented by the Tax Department in South Al Batinah Governorate, the organized a workshop titled “Taxes in the Sultanate of Oman” for entrepreneurs. It aims to raise the participants’ awareness of the tax system and introduce them to key tax laws, rights, and obligations.

Tax awareness… voluntary compliance… and a partnership that supports development and sustainability.

A step towards a healthy society ✨

As part of ongoing efforts to mitigate the health risks associated with smoking, the Tax Authority has issued a decision amending Ministerial Decision (No. 112/2019). Under this amendment, products designed to assist in smoking cessation shall be treated as non-taxable items, as they are not classified as excise goods.

The taxable person shall issue the tax invoice in an approved and secured electronic format to ensure its integrity and retention with a unique number for each invoice.

-On the first of April 2027, for taxpayers whose annual supplies value exceeds (5,000,000 RO) five million Omani Riyals.
-On the first of October 2027, for taxpayers whose annual supplies value does not exceed (5,000,000 RO) five million Omani Riyals.

‏خطوة نحو مجتمع صحيّ ✨
‏في إطار تعزيز الجهود الرامية إلى الحدّ من الآثار الصحية المُرتبِطة بالتدخين؛ أصدر جهاز الضرائب قرارًا بتعديل القرار الوزاري رقم (112/2019) لتُعامَل المُنتجات المُعدَّة للمُساعدة على الإقلاع عن التدخين على أنها غير خاضعة للضريبة ، لكونها لا تُعد من السلع الانتقائية.
