Oman Gas Powering The Nation; the Natural Gas Transportation Company in the Sultanate of Oman

Oman Gas Company (OGC) is the Sultanate’s gas transportation company, delivering natural gas to the vibrant economic sectors and major consumers comprising of Domestic, Power and Desalination plants, Fertilizer, Methanol, Petrochemical, Refineries, Steel and Cement plants. The Company is involved in the transmission and distribution of natural gas, through a vast network of gas pipelines, compress

or stations and gas supply stations. The Company also provides project management services in pipeline construction. OGC was established in August 2000 as a closed joint stock company between the Government of Oman represented by the Ministry of Oil & Gas holding 80% of the shares and Oman Oil company holding the remaining 20%. Royal Decree no. 78/2000 has granted the Company concession rights for 27 years to own, construct, maintain and operate natural gas facilities in the Sultanate of Oman. The company's gas pipeline network is spread across the country with more than 2500 kilometers of high pressure transmission pipelines and ancillary facilities covering Fahud, Muscat, and Sohar in the north and from Saih-Rawl to Salalah in the south of the country.OGC has made numerous achievements since its inception, and the company is proud to be associated with the first cross boarder gas transportation. The first import gas received from the Dolphin pipeline from Qatar in October 2008. In the short span of years, Oman Gas Company is going through an evolution and slowly changing from a gas transportation Company into an integrated enterprise harnessing the power of Oman's natural gas transportation.

OGC has launched Lean program named Nartaqi to drive the journey of excellence.

Nartaqi is a transformation program that has been launched to support OGC on its transition to become a leading Energy Infrastructure group. It aims at reaching operational excellence and improving business efficiency, and aligning current practices with international standards.

وتنص الإتفاقية، تقدم شركة خدمات متخصصة لتشغيل وصيانة محطة الغاز الجديدة، الواقعة في منطقة فهود، والتي صُممت كحزمة متكاملة ضمن مشروع مجمع لوى للصناعات البلاستيكية.علاوة على ذلك، تكون شركة الغاز العمانية مسؤولة عن إدارة وتشغيل خط أنابيب سعة 14 بوصة يمتد لمسافة حوالي 300 كيلومتراً يربط محطة استخلاص سوائل الغاز في فهود بمجمع لوى الواقع في منطقة صحار.

Under the NGLE Services Agreement, will provide dedicated services for the operation and maintenance of the Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) plant located in Fuhud, the upstream of its mammoth Liwa Plastics Industrial Complex (LPIC) project in Suhar Port.A 300km 14-inch pipeline connecting the Fuhud plant with the Suhar complex will also be operated and maintained by OGC as part of this agreement.

وقعت #اليوم شركة النفط العُمانية للمصافي والصناعات البترولية-أوربك إتفاقية تشغيل وصيانة محطة استخلاص الغاز الطبيعي المسال وخطوط الأنابيب المصاحبة إحدى حزم مشروع مجمع لوى للصناعات البلاستيكية مع شركة في حفل توقيع اُقيم تحت رعاية معالي الدكتور/علي بن مسعود السنيدي، وزير التجارة والصناعة.
وقع الاتفاقية بين الشركتين الفاضل/ أحمد بن صالح الجهضمي، الرئيس التنفيذي لأوربك، والفاضل/ سلطان بن حمد البرطماني، المدير العام التنفيذي بالوكالة لشركة .

Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company and Company inked an agreement for operation and maintenance of the NGL Extraction plant (NGLE) and associated pipelines. The signing ceremony held under the auspices of H.E Dr. Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidi, Minster of Commerce and Industry.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al Jahdhami, CEO of , and Mr. Sultan bin Hamed Al Burtmani, Acting Executive Managing Director of .
