He has called on the travelling public and motorists to coorporate with the city authority to ease the heavy traffic flow currently experienced in the area during peak hours.
He said the safety and security for city residents and motorist was the municipal’s police utmost priority.
“I have deployed my reservists on strategic locations to give confidence to the general public especially motorists travelling during the peaks hours from 7am- 9am in the mornings,” said Bala.
NCDC reservists’ presence on the ground at school crossings, roundabouts and road intersections have been managing heavy traffic flow especially during peak hours in the mornings.

“Our presence there is to give confidence to the traveling motorist and allow free flow of traffic during peak hours in the morning,” said Bala.
The road rehabilitation work for Koura Way- Waigani Drive intersections which commences on the 6th February 2022 is expected to be completed in eight (8) months’ time.
