The 2022 National General Election is nothing short of drama! No thanks to Prime Minister James Marape who in December 2021, just 3 months before the Insurance of Writs appointed a Simon Sinai as Electoral Commissioner.

Whilst this would be seen as a good appointment to appoint someone with experience to lead the 2022 National Elections, what kind of experience was Marape looking for in Sinai? The most famous experience that Simon Sinai had was stealing the election for the people of Madang in 2017. Mr. Sinai was charged with the false declaration, perjury, and official corruption. Yet somehow Mr. Sinai survived all these charges and becomes the CHOSEN electoral commissioner for James Marape and his Pangu Pati coalition.

The anti-corruption fighters in Bryan Kramer, Gary Juffa and Allan Bird are all silent as a lamb. Seems there are only anti-corrupt when it suits them and even in Government, they kept quiet about the biggest scam of the century, the K5.6 BILLION steal!
Stealing an Election is the hallmark of Simon Sinai who was appointed by the PANGU Pati-led Government and already we are seeing signs of election discrepancies right before our eyes. Whilst the media are pointing out such discrepancies, the current Government that appointed Sinai is turning a blind eye to this and being cheered on by the so-called anti-corruption activities turned politicians.

1. Media BLACKOUT on Electorate Commission – NO WEBSITE
2. Late updates of the COMMON ROLL
3. No clear direction of using for 2022 Common Rolls
4. Extending the date for Nominations
5. Double and Triple appointment of Returning Officers (Hagen Open)
6. Shortening the Polling Dates (dates cut down)
7. Reduce polling locations

A FRESH START THROUGH THE BALLOTS 🗳

By: A. Freeman

I do write this article with due respect to the Office of the Prime Minister, the 111 Members of Parliament, and the citizens of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea.

Firstly, I stand Independent and free from political influence and attachment. I do hereby question the Government's ability to deliver the proposed projects after the 2022 NGE. Are we going to witness the effective delivery of the proposed services at the best interest of the people?

The answer can be either yes, or no. That depends on you and me. We are the voters and we decide who is going into parliament. The briefcase carriers or kaikai mahn of a politician as they say, does not decide. Money does not decide. It is you and I, the people decide.

It is childish to play blame game at the heart of a declining economy, to procrastinate basic government funds and services at the expense of petty politics. Let us fix our mindsets, free our thoughts from political influence and slavery and re-think the future and destiny of our Nation.

Let us enforce our entitled rights as an individual citizen of PNG without politics, prejudice and division. Our conscience should be united, clear and free from political influence. The statehold enterprise CEO's and Departmental Heads should start acting without fear or favor for the best interest of the citizens of PNG.

The Ombudsman Commission should be acknowledged for a wonderful job done to refer Honorable MP for Madang and Justice Minister Brian Kramer to the Leadership Tribunal. We all should bare in mind he is not guilty until proven guilty by the Tribunal. Beginning with Kramer, let those other politicians who have allegations against them be referred to face the Leadership Tribunal, and let the incoming government not play petty politics with the appointments of Departmental Heads.

This land has had enough.

Let us break the chain of political monopoly and influence. Let individuals decide who is coming back into parliament and who is not. Yes, through the 2022 NGE, let the people form a strong government that can deliver.

Remember, our vote is our personal choice. Without fear or favor, let us vote a winning candidate for 2022 NGE, and a strong and viable political party to form the next Government. A fresh start through the ballots 🗳 is all we expect.

KRAMER CANNOT STOP REFERAL

By: A. Freeman

Justice Minister and MP for Madang Hon. Brian Kramer believes that; "the Ombudsman Commission is subject to the Constitution, which obligates them to comply
with the principles of natural justice, not what they may feel is their own general practice.”

He made this statement as acting onbehalf of the Office of the Minister of Justice. The statements were published as a media statement from the Justice Ministry.

Thus, Kramer was making this statement questioning the constitutional function of the Commission.

The question of test; "can the courts stop the Ombudsman Commission's constitutional obligation? And if not so, how do we decide what is the appropriate responsibility of the Commission, either; by the principles of natural practice, or by their own general practice?"

The statement can be seen as irrelevant and a personal attack on an individual. The constitutionality of the Commision's function to refer Kramer to the Leadership Tribunal stands.

The action of the Commission can be seen as valid, and it should proceed forthwith.

If the Pandemic Act is an emergency law:-

(1). Does it have proper regard for the rights stated in section 46 on freedom of expression and section 45 for some of us Christian believers who do not believe in man-made immunity and defense system?

(2). Does it have proper regard for the Rights to Employment Section 48 and Section 39(2) on Reasonability and is it Justifiable considering the circumstances seen today where the people are complaining about the loss of jobs and the suppression from expression exercised by the Pandemic Controller and the Government?

We should only fear God and make righteous and reasonable judgements.

For the love of money is the root of all evil.

God save PNG!
