CALABARZON'S TOP MOST WANTED PERSON IN CONNECTION WITH A R**E CASE ARRESTED IN NORTHERN SAMAR

The Philippine National Police, under the command of PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., strengthened its intensified campaign against wanted persons following the arrest of the Number 1 Most Wanted Person at the regional level in CALABARZON during a manhunt operation conducted on May 25, 2026 in Mondragon, Northern Samar.

Joint operatives of the Mondragon Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Division 4A, Northern Samar Police Provincial Office Provincial Intelligence Unit, Regional Intelligence Division 8, and Antipolo City Police Station arrested the 26-year-old male suspect, a native of Caloocan City who was residing in Mondragon, Northern Samar, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for 13 counts of Statutory R**e issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 72, Antipolo City, Rizal. The court recommended no bail for the accused.

Authorities informed the accused of the nature of his arrest and constitutional rights before bringing him to the Mondragon Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

PGEN Nartatez emphasized that the successful operation reflects the sustained determination of the PNP to locate fugitives and ensure that they face the law regardless of where they attempt to hide.

“No individual wanted by the law should feel beyond the reach of justice. This successful operation highlights the strong commitment of the Philippine National Police to protect communities and pursue offenders wherever they may be,” said PGEN Nartatez.

“Patuloy nating hahabulin ang mga taong may pananagutan sa batas upang mapanatili ang kaayusan at seguridad ng ating mga komunidad. Hindi tayo titigil hangga’t hindi sila napapanagot,” he added.

The operation also highlights the PNP Focused Agenda—an organizational framework of transformation designed to make police service more responsive and reliable to the needs of the public. Among its key priorities is Enhanced Managing Police Operations, which strengthens sustained law enforcement efforts against wanted persons and other criminal elements threatening community safety.

PGEN Nartatez further underscored the importance of collaboration among police units in strengthening law enforcement operations across regions.

“Operations like this demonstrate the ability of the PNP to effectively carry out law enforcement actions through strong operational support and information sharing among police units,” said PGEN Nartatez.

“Ang tagumpay ng operasyong ito ay bunga ng tuloy-tuloy na pagkilos ng kapulisan upang mapanatiling ligtas ang mamamayan laban sa mga nagtatangkang umiwas sa hustisya,” he stated.

As the PNP continues to intensify its nationwide campaign against wanted persons and strengthen law enforcement operations under the directive of President Ferdinand R. PNP SEIZES ₱6.4M SMUGGLED CI******ES; WAREHOUSE OWNER ARRESTED IN ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY

The Philippine National Police, under the leadership of PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., implemented a Search Warrant for Violation of Republic Act No. 10643 on May 28, 2026 in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay, resulting in the arrest of a warehouse owner and the seizure of large quantities of smuggled ci******es.

The operation was led by the Zamboanga Sibugay Maritime Police Station, in coordination with the Regional Maritime Unit 9 – Special Operations Response Team, Titay Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit 9, and the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Zamboanga Sibugay.

Acting on a court-issued warrant, the operating teams conducted a search at a warehouse owned by the suspect, where assorted smuggled ci******es were discovered and confiscated. The total estimated value of seized items reached ₱6,418,224.00.

The warehouse owner was informed of his constitutional rights. He was subsequently brought to the Zamboanga Sibugay Maritime Police Station for documentation and proper disposition prior to the filing of appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 10643, also known as the Anti-Illicit Trade of To***co Act.

The operation reflects the implementation of the PNP Focused Agenda—a transformation-driven framework designed to enhance accountability, strengthen operational effectiveness, and improve public service delivery.
Anchored on key priorities such as Integrity Monitoring and Enhanced Managing Police Operations, the agenda continues to guide sustained efforts against smuggling and other illegal trade activities.

PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. stated: “We remain firm in our commitment to stop smuggling activities that undermine government revenues and affect lawful trade.”

“Patuloy naming ipinatutupad ang batas laban sa mga ilegal na kalakal upang mapanatili ang kaayusan at maprotektahan ang kabuhayan ng mamamayan,” he added.

PNP NABS NO. 1 REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSON IN NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

The Philippine National Police (PNP), under the leadership of PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., announced the arrest of a Regional Most Wanted Person during a law enforcement operation conducted on May 28, 2026, in Brgy. Rizal, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Arrested was a 43-year-old male suspect known by the alias “Clarito,” who was facing multiple charges related to frustrated and attempted murder in connection with a shooting incident that occurred during the recent election period in Silay City.

The operation was carried out by operatives of Silay City Component City Police Station following the issuance of warrants by a Regional Trial Court in Silay City.

The suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and anti-torture warning before being placed under police custody for proper documentation and turnover to the court of origin.

The successful operation reflects the continuing efforts of the PNP to strengthen law enforcement and public safety under its focused agenda on Enhanced Managing Police Operations, in support of the peace and order initiatives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Chief PNP, Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating units for the lawful and orderly conduct of the operation.

WANTED PERSON FACING QUALIFIED TRAFFICKING CHARGES ARRESTED IN BULACAN

A 76-year-old male suspect identified only by the alias “Tony” was arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) during a law enforcement operation conducted in Angat, Bulacan on the evening of May 29, 2026.

The operation was carried out by the tracker team of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office Provincial Intelligence Unit, in coordination with personnel from the Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and Angat Municipal Police Station. Authorities served a warrant of arrest for two counts of qualified trafficking under Republic Act 9208, as amended by Republic Act 10364 and Republic Act 11862.

The suspect was apprehended in Barangay Encanto, Angat, Bulacan. Police said the warrant was issued on the same day by a Regional Trial Court in Malolos City, Bulacan, with no bail recommended.

Authorities emphasized that the suspect was properly informed of his constitutional rights in a language known to him before and during the arrest. He was later brought to the appropriate police office for documentation and proper disposition.

PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., commended the operating units for the orderly and lawful implementation of the operation.

“Hindi natin palalampasin ang anumang uri ng human trafficking dahil buhay, dignidad, at kinabukasan ng tao ang nakataya rito. Patuloy ang ating pagtutok sa mga kasong tulad nito habang sinisiguro rin natin na bawat operasyon ng PNP ay isinasagawa nang may respeto sa karapatang pantao at naaayon sa batas,” said PNP Chief, PGen Nartatez.

The operation forms part of the continuing efforts of the PNP to strengthen law enforcement operations under its Focused Agenda on enhanced managing police operations, in support of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in maintaining peace, public safety, and accountability before the law.

The PNP assured the public that it will continue to pursue wanted persons while upholding legal procedures and respecting human rights, in line with the Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na maging mapanuri sa mga natatanggap na mensahe at iwasan ang agarang pagbabahagi ng hindi beripikadong balita, lalo na sa mga pekeng promos, phishing links, at kahina-hinalang travel o text scams.

Pinaaalalahanan din ang bawat isa na palakasin ang seguridad ng kanilang mga online account sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng two-factor authentication at matitibay na password. Iwasan ang labis na pagbabahagi ng personal na impormasyon sa social media, kabilang ang sensitibong detalye tulad ng mga ID, boarding pass, at eksaktong lokasyon, at laging suriin ang kredibilidad ng pinagmumulan ng impormasyon bago maniwala o mag-share.

Bilang bahagi ng PNP Focused Agenda, patuloy ang mas pinaigting na kampanya laban sa cybercrime at disinformation upang maprotektahan ang publiko sa digital na espasyo. Kung may kahina-hinalang aktibidad o posibleng biktima ng online scam, agad na mag-report sa Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG). Sa ganitong adhikain, nananatiling tapat ang PNP sa tungkulin nitong maghatid ng proteksyon at serbisyo sa sambayanan: “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman.”
