Aklan State University Kalibo conducted its Civil Service Month 2026 Faculty and Staff Empowerment Day on September 25, 2026, at the ASU-Kalibo Function Hall, featuring a seminar and activities for faculty members and staff.

Carrying the theme, โ€œElevating Public Higher Education: ASU-Kaliboโ€™s Unwavering Excellence, Integrity and Compassionate Service,โ€ the seminar featured discussions on Occupational Safety and Health, Civil Service Commission updates, and the realities of early-career faculty. The program also included the Loyalty and Service Awards Ceremony, General Meeting, and Faculty and Staff Wellness Session.

The activity was held as part of the campus observance of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, with the theme, โ€œBawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.โ€ Prior to the Faculty and Staff Empowerment Day, ASU-Kalibo also participated in Civil Service Month activities, including the Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall, coastal clean-up, and Zumba sessions

Aklan State University Kalibo participated in the ASU Communications, Branding, Social Media Management, and Records Processes Seminar-Workshop held on September 21, 2026, at the Review Center, Aklan State University, Banga, Aklan.

Representatives from ASU-Kaliboโ€™s colleges, programs, student organizations, and other units managing official social media platforms joined the activity, which brought together designated communication and information representatives from across the University.

The seminar-workshop focused on the proper application of the ASU Communication Manual, institutional branding and visual identity, responsible social media management, and proper processes for handling official communications and records.

The activity provided participants with a common understanding of ASUโ€™s communication and branding standards and strengthened coordination in managing and disseminating accurate, consistent, and professional information across the University and its digital platforms.

ASUโ€“KALIBO JOINS 2026 NATIONAL COASTAL CLEAN-UP ACTIVITY

Aklan State University Kalibo joined the 2026 National Coastal Clean-up Activity on September 19, 2026, at Pook Jetty Port, Kalibo, Aklan.

The activity brought together faculty and staff of ASUโ€“Kalibo, partner agencies, and community members in a collective effort to promote environmental responsibility and help maintain clean and healthy coastal areas.

Held in celebration of Civil Service Month and in line with the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary theme, โ€œBawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,โ€ the activity was conducted in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Through its participation in this collaborative undertaking, ASUโ€“Kalibo continues to support environmental protection and community service as part of its commitment to responsive public service.
