Ngayong taon, sa temang "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations," kinikilala natin na sa kabila ng magkakaibang estado at hamon sa araw-araw, iisa ang pangarap ng ating mga kabataan para sa kanilang kinabukasan at sa bayan.

Bagamat nasusubok ang henerasyon ngayon sa larangan ng pamumuno, pananagutan, at integridad, ang mga pagsubok na ito ay hindi hadlang kundi patunay ng katatagan at pagpupursigi na baguhin ang mga lumang sistema para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Sa halip na maging tahimik na tagatanggap lamang ng tulong, pinatutunayan ng kabataang Domingueรฑo na kayo ay mga aktibong tagapagtaguyod ng mga lokal na solusyon at katuwang sa pangmatagalang kaunlaran.

During the meeting, the LYDC members actively discussed and deliberated on various activities for the upcoming celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, anchored on the theme โ€œDifferent Contexts, Common Aspirations.โ€ The proposed celebration is targeted for August 30โ€“31, 2026, at Plaza Pugad Lawin, featuring activities such as Youth Organization Booths, Laro ng Lahi, and Cosplay.

Through this collaboration, the LYDC and SK Federation are looking forward in working together to promote meaningful youth participation and ensure the successful implementation of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

As part of the partnership, the LYDO provided support for the activity, which brought together youth participants, aged 15 to 30, from various barangays of Sto. Domingo and neighboring municipalities in Albay.

Through this partnership, the LYDO continues to support youth empowerment, civic participation, and voter education in the community.

Domingo Youth Development Council for 2026-2028; updates on the Youth Organizations Registration Program (YORP), and the presentation of event proposals from youth organizations for the upcoming Linggo ng Kabataan this August.

The meeting reflects the commitment of the LYDO and LYDC to address important issues concerning the youth of Sto. Domingo particularly those involving leadership, accountability, and effective youth governance.

The meeting focused on important youth-related matters, including Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) requirements, registration updates and verification processes, as well as the planning, budgeting, and committee assignments for the upcoming Linggo ng Kabataan celebration this August.
