📢 REQUIREMENTS FOR FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY (COC) | BSKE 2026

Planning to run in the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE)? Make sure your Certificate of Candidacy (COC) is complete before filing.

🗓 Filing Period: September 28 – October 5, 2026

Before visiting the Office of the Election Officer, kindly review the complete list of requirements and reminders to ensure a smooth and hassle-free filing process.

⚠️ Important Reminders:

✅ Submit three (3) duly accomplished copies of your COC.
✅ The COC must be notarized.
✅ Attach a Passport-size photo in each copies.
✅ Attach a copy of your Birth Certificate.
✅ Attach the required ₱30.00 Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
✅ Incomplete COCs will not be accepted and will not be stamped as received.
✅ The COC may be filed personally by the aspirant or through an authorized representative with a duly sworn and signed Authority to File.

Para sa kaalaman at kapanatagan ng lahat, ang Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections ay isasagawa sa November 2, 2026, ayon sa Republic Act No. 12232.

Ang batas na ito ay pinirmahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. noong August 13, 2025. Hindi na ito maituturing na “Breaking News” tulad nang nakasaad sa social media post ng Asenso Ka Barangay page sa kanang bahagi.

PAALALA na ang pagpapalaganap ng maling impormasyon upang maging sanhi ng kalituhan ng mga botante ay maaaring ituring na Election Offense sa ilalim ng Section 261(z)(11) ng Omnibus Election Code.
