The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Regional Welfare Office 3 (OWWA RWO 3) joined the OFW Forum initiative of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the City of San Jose Del Monte on August 14, 2026, at the City Covered Court of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
With the theme, โEmpowering OFWs in Times of Crisis: Welfare, Financial Resilience and Mental Wellness, the activity helped strengthen OFWs and their families by providing them with valuable insights on critical issues that might affect their reintegration and overall well-being. The activity was attended by members of OFW Family Circles (OFCs) in different barangays of the City of San Jose Del Monte.
During the forum, Mark Joseph C. Bondoc, OWWO III of OWWA RWO 3, presented the welfare support mechanisms available for OFWs, particularly OWWAโs comprehensive assistance, both on-site and in-country support for OFWs affected by the crisis. This includes the agencyโs repatriation efforts from the host country through their return and successful reintegration into their community. He also discussed the Alagang OWWA programs, a strengthened initiative for OFWs that promotes their welfare, protection, and overall well-being.
Through this initiative, OWWA RWO 3 reaffirms its commitment to providing responsive and accessible welfare services to OFWs and their families, particularly in times of crisis. The agency continues to work closely with local government units, partner agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that OFWs receive timely welfare assistance through their overseas and reintegration journey.
