Sa ika-32 Regular na Sesyon ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan, buong pagkakaisa nating ipinagdiwang ang Buwan ng Wika sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng Wikang Filipino sa lahat ng talakayan sa plenaryo.

Sa bawat agenda, argumento, debate, at pag-apruba ng mga solusyon, naging sentro ang ating sariling wika bilang daluyan ng makabuluhang usapan.

Ipinakita ng lahat ng miyembro na ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang midyum ng komunikasyon, kundi simbolo ng pagkakaisa, paglilingkod, at mabuting pamamahala.

Consultative Meeting on Local Governance Reforms.

The Liga ng mga Barangay Provincial Presidents together with the National Executive Board participated in consultative meeting with the House Committee on Local Government on reprioritized LEDAC Local Governance Measures at Andaya Hall, House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City, last August 12, 2026.

The proposed reforms are significant for the Liga ng mga Barangay, including the Magna Carta for Barangays, amendments to the Local Government Code, reprogramming of the Seal of Good Local Governance, amendments to the National Building Code, and the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act.

These measures should strengthen local autonomy, improve governance, and provide greater support and benefits to all barangays.

Consultative Meeting for Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program

A productive consultative meeting with our Provincial Governor, Hon. Paolo Everardo S. Javier, Provincial Treasurer Mrs. Joyce Suriaga, together with our Municipal Liga Presidents and Municipal Liga Representatives, to discuss the “Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program—the Socio-Civic Project Funds (SCPF) of the President”.

This initiative is a step toward ensuring that government resources reach the barangays and directly benefit our communities. Through unity, coordination, and responsible leadership, we continue to work together for meaningful projects and a better future for every barangay in Antique.

MAGALANG NA PINOY: A Filipino Values Revival Movement 🇵🇭

Kaisa ang Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas sa pagsusulong ng Magalang na Pinoy, isang kilusan na naglalayong palakasin ang paggalang, pakikipagkapwa-tao, disiplina, at mabuting asal ng bawat Pilipino.

Bilang Provincial Liga President, buong suporta ang ating pag-endorso sa pag-adopt nito bilang Provincial Resolution sa lalawigan ng Antique, na may mahalagang suporta ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Antique sa pag apruba nito.

Sa panahong ito, higit kailanman, mahalagang isabuhay ang respeto—lalo na sa mga kabataan ngayon—bilang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan at pundasyon ng maayos na lipunan.

Magalang na Pinoy—ang tunay na lakas ng Pilipino ay nagsisimula sa respeto. 🇵🇭
