The recent eruption of Mt. Kanlaon has left many families in dire need. We, the 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐎 - 𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐒 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 are calling for your support to provide essential relief goods and donations for our fellow learners who were affected. Every contribution counts and will make a significant difference in the lives of those affected.

Before the school year starts, we will make our contribution as part of Brigada Eskwela by adopting one of the schools in the affected area and extending our help there. This initiative will ensure that the learners have the necessary supplies and a conducive learning environment, helping them get back on their feet and continue their education with hope and enthusiasm.

This initiative is not just an online campaign. The SSLG of each school in our province will also implement school-based initiatives to generate funds in support of DFSSLG. One of our key projects is "𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞," where we will collect plastic bottles, sell them, and use the proceeds to provide aid to those affected by the eruption. You can participate by collecting plastic bottles and bringing them to the nearest high school in your area. This effort not only supports our fundraising goals but also promotes environmental sustainability by reducing plastic waste.

The celebration of 2024 National Women's Month made us significantly recognize the valuable contributions and importance of women everywhere in the world.

Throughout history, women have been at the forefront of social change, breaking barriers and empowering people around them through their undeniable resilience and immense determination.

Moreover, as we celebrate this special month, let us have the courage to say "thank you" to the women who have sacrificed themselves for nine months just to bring us to where we are today.

And to all the women out there, babae ka, hindi babae lang. Abanse, Babaye! 🫂💜
