Whether one supports or opposes impeachment, the principle should remain the same: the process must be lawful, fair, transparent, and grounded in the Constitution.
Questions concerning public funds and the conduct of public officials deserve serious scrutiny and accountability. But accountability must never mean abandoning due process, and due process must never become an excuse to avoid legitimate examination of the facts.
The goal should not be political victory. It should be institutional integrity, protection of public resources, respect for the Constitution, and the pursuit of truth through lawful proceedings.
