๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: The Civil Relations Group North Eastern Luzon (CRG-NELZN), together with the Coast Guard Sub-Station Baler (CGSS-Baler), Coast Guard Special Operations Unit (CGSOU), Maritime Safety Services Unit (MSSU), and Coast Guard Weapons, Electronics, Information, and Communications System Command (CGWEISC), joined forces with teachers, parents, and local volunteers for the annual Brigada Eskwela at Baler Central School.

The team dedicated their time and effort to help clean, repair, and prepare the campus for the incoming students. By working side by side with the community, these units helped ensure that the school grounds are ready, welcoming, and safe in time for the opening of classes.

This activity highlights CRG-NELZNโ€™s continuing commitment to community service and youth development through strong inter-agency partnerships. The school administration expressed its deep gratitude to all participating units for their hard work, dedication, and volunteer spirit.

Through simple acts of service such as this, CRG-NELZN and its partner units continue to strengthen the spirit of bayanihan and foster stronger ties of friendship and cooperation with the people of Aurora.

Naalala mo pa ba kung ilan ang kabuuang bilang ng mga isla ng Pilipinas?

Sa loob ng maraming dekada, nakasanayan nating ituro na ang Pilipinas ay binubuo ng 7,107 isla. Ngunit dahil sa makabagong teknolohiya at mas masusing pagmamapa, opisyal nang kinilala ng National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) na ang bansa ay may kabuuang 7,641 isla.

Hindi lamang bilang ang mahalaga. Ang bawat isla ay sumasalamin sa mayamang kultura, likas na yaman, at kagandahan ng ating bansa. Mula sa mga pamayanang baybayin hanggang sa yamang-dagat, ang ating arkipelago ay tahanan ng milyun-milyong Pilipino at mahalagang bahagi ng ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

Kaakibat nito ang mahalagang tungkulin ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa pangangalaga sa ating karagatan at pagpapanatili ng kaligtasan, seguridad, at kaayusan sa buong arkipelago. Sa pamamagitan ng maritime safety at security, search and rescue operations, at environmental protection, patuloy na nagsisilbi ang PCG sa sambayanang Pilipino sa ibaโ€™t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Sa bawat isla na naitatala sa ating mapa, mas lalo nating nauunawaan ang lawak ng ating pananagutan na pangalagaan, paglingkuran, at ipagmalaki ang bansang Pilipinas.
