This September, DTI Region 2 joins the celebration of the 2026 Philippine Creative Industries Month (PCIM), recognizing the creativity, talent, culture, and innovation of Cagayan Valley creatives and their contribution to enterprise, tourism, employment, and regional development.

The celebration is institutionalized under Republic Act No. 11904 or the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (PCIDA) and further strengthened by Memorandum Circular No. 130, which calls on government agencies to support the 2026 PCIM and encourages LGUs and the private sector to take part in advancing the country’s creative industries.

With this year’s theme, β€œWe Are a Creative Nation,” let us give greater value to the people behind our art, culture, designs, crafts, content, performances, and other creative works.
