The Provincial Government of Apayao joins the nation in observing the 48th National Disability Rights Week from July 17 to 23, 2026.

This year’s observance carries the theme, “Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development,” highlighting the importance of advancing the rights of persons with disabilities through policies and programs that promote equal opportunities and participation.

The annual observance is held pursuant to Proclamation No. 597, s. 1995, as amended by Proclamation No. 1870, s. 2009.
