🚨LTO UPDATE🚨

The Driver’s Education Center conducted Free Theoretical Driving Course for women at LTO-Bacolod!

The 2-day seminar was facilitated by lecturers Ms. Jane P. Auque, and Ms. Maryle T. Jocson under the guidance of DEC Head, Ruth T. Ohoylan.

This activity was initiated by the OIC-Regional Director, Jeck D. Conlu, in celebration of National Women’s Month with the theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!”

Indeed, there is no limit to what women can accomplish!

To our participants, as you start your “driving” journey, may you all remember and apply your learnings from our seminar.

The LTO San Carlos City District Office is pleased to announce the conduct of a FREE 15-Hour Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) on March 26–27, 2026 at Park Marina, Brgy. 3, San Carlos City.
This activity is expected to accommodate up to 200 participants.

This initiative is part of our Women’s Month celebration, aimed at strengthening road safety education through LGU-led awareness programs and promoting responsible driving within the community, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of San Carlos City and NIR Driver's Education Center (DEC).

Strengthening Road Safety: Over 150 Bayawan LGU Staff Attended Defensive Driving Seminar!

Under the proactive leadership of Dir. Jeck D. Conlu, OIC-Regional Director of LTO-NIR. This vital training was conducted by the Head of the Drivers Education Center, Ruth T. Ohoylan, alongside new lecturers, Jane P. Auque and Maryle T. Jocson, this initiative highlights our commitment to elevating road safety standards across the region.

The session focused on proactive driving techniques, hazard recognition, and strict adherence to traffic laws—ensuring that those who serve our community are also protecting it on the road.

Free 15-hour Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) successfully conducted in two different barangays in Bayawan City!

The course was facilitated by the Head of Driver’s Education Center, Ms. Ruth T. Ohoylan (Brgy. Suba), and our new lecturers, Ms. Jane P. Auque, LPT and Ms. Maryle T. Jocson (Brgy. Kalumboyan).

This initiative was conducted under the leadership of Dir. Jeck D. Conlu, OIC-RD of LTO-NIR as part of the Agency’s ongoing efforts to make driver education more accessible and impactful.

Special thanks to the support and active involvement of the Local Government Unit of Bayawan City, headed by Hon. Mayor John T. Raymond, Jr., and CTTMO staff.

LTO Drivers’ Education Center- Bacolod will conduct a FREE Theoretical Driving Course on March 30-31, 2026.

What is TDC❓
TDC is a 15-hour seminar that tackles Traffic Laws, Rules and Regulations and road safety awareness. It is a pre-requisite course to obtain student permit, and prepares the beginner to be a defensive driver.

Please know that this initiative is strictly for WOMEN only, as our usual participation for International Women’s Day Celebration!
