Are you ready to become the next Nutrition Champion?
The Municipal Health Office of Don Salvador Benedicto, through the Municipal Nutrition Council, invites all qualified participants to join the Nutrition Champion: Biggest Loser Contest—a year-long wellness program in celebration of Nutrition Month 2026.
This initiative aims to promote healthy weight management, balanced nutrition, active lifestyles, and increased awareness of health and nutrition while encouraging community participation in wellness initiatives.
Registration Details
• Registration Period: July 13–17, 2026
• Registration Venue: Municipal Health Office, Don Salvador Benedicto
• Initial Weigh-in: July 23, 2026
• Final Weigh-in and Awarding: July 23, 2027

• DepEd Personnel assigned in Don Salvador Benedicto
• Barangay Officials
• Barangay Staff
Eligibility
Participants must undergo BMI assessment and validation by the Municipal Health Office during the registration period. Only individuals classified as Obese based on their Body Mass Index (BMI) are eligible to participate.
Contest Guidelines
• Official weigh-ins will be conducted only by designated health and nutrition personnel.
• The same calibrated weighing scale will be used for both the initial and final weigh-ins.
• Participants should wear light clothing and no footwear during weigh-ins.
• The use of unprescribed weight-loss drugs, supplements, or extreme fasting is strictly prohibited. Only safe and healthy weight management practices are allowed.
• All submitted requirements and supporting documents must be truthful and verifiable.
Scoring System (100 Points Total)
• Weight Loss – Based on the percentage of weight loss from the initial to the final weigh-in.
• Active Lifestyle Posting – Share photos or videos of physical activities with healthy lifestyle captions, tag the official PMNP DSB Page, and use the official campaign hashtags. A minimum of one post per week is required for full credit.
• Meal Diary Submission – Record daily meals, snacks, and water intake, and submit the meal diary quarterly to the Nutrition Office.
• Attendance – Attend scheduled health and nutrition seminars, workshops, consultations, and meetings. Absences will affect the overall score.
• Community Participation – Participate in at least two community activities related to health, nutrition, or environmental initiatives and submit proof of participation.
