Pampanga State University stands with the nation in championing a future free from violence against women. ๐Ÿงก

Pampanga State University proudly participated in the "Youth Got This! 2025 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW)" organized by the Philippine Commission on Women, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to gender equality, safe spaces, and the prevention of all forms of violence against women. The national campaign encourages the active involvement of educational institutions and other sectors in advancing a VAW-free Philippines.

Representing the University, Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Director of the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS), joined fellow advocates and stakeholders in meaningful discussions on strengthening youth engagement and collaborative actions toward ending violence against women.

Together, let us continue to educate, empower, and inspire communities to become champions of respect, equality, and inclusivity.

A stage is never meant for silence when lives are being stolen.

This July 1โ€“31, 2026, the Pampanga State University - Office of Culture and the Arts joins the observance of the ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐€๐ง๐ญ๐ข-๐“๐ซ๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก.

Through every rhythm that refuses to be muted, every movement that breaks restraint, every image that restores dignity, and every story that calls for justice, we stand against human trafficking.

Culture remembers.
Art reveals.
Collective action protects.

Some art is seen. Some is heard. And some has always been present, waiting to be recognized.

Every second week of July, the nation observes ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐–๐ž๐ž๐ค pursuant to ๐๐ซ๐จ๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ, ๐ฌ. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ–, honoring the people, traditions, and creative expressions that continue to shape the countryโ€™s cultural identity.

In this spirit, the Office of Culture and the Arts recognizes Filipino artists, cultural bearers, artisans, performers, and communities whose contributions often remain beyond the spotlight.

In every woven pattern, handcrafted form, rhythm, movement, color, and story lives a voice that refuses to disappear. The artistry of women, LGBTQ+ Community, Indigenous Peoples, and other marginalized or overlooked communities shows how culture can transform silence into expression and invisibility into presence.

Their creativity is not merely part of the background. It carries memory, identity, resistance, and hope. It reminds us that the soul of the Filipino nation is shaped not only by the voices we often hear, but also by those we have yet to fully see.

They may remain hidden from view, but through culture and the arts, their voices become loud.
