π½οΈπΏ COOK FEST 2026: COOKING WITH NUTRITION, CREATIVITY, AND TEAMWORK! πΏπ½οΈ
As part of the Nutrition Month Celebration 2026, Mabolo Elementary School proudly invites all parents from Kinder to Grade 6 to participate in Cook Fest 2026βa fun-filled culinary competition that highlights healthy eating, resourcefulness, and family collaboration.
This exciting event encourages parents to prepare nutritious and budget-friendly meals while showcasing their creativity and culinary skills using locally available ingredients. Together, let us promote the importance of preparing healthy meals that nourish every Filipino family.

π¨βπ³ GENERAL MECHANICS

Each team must have five (5) members from each section from Kinder to Grade 6 (1 team per section).
β
The maximum budget is β±500.00 for the complete menu. Teams must submit a Liquidation Sheet/Cost Breakdown with official receipts or a signed public market price list before the competition.
β
The main dish must feature Tahong (Mussels) together with vegetables. Each team shall prepare:
* Main Dish (Tahong with vegetables)
* Side Dish/Appetizer or Soup
* Healthy Drink or Dessert
The prepared menu should be sufficient to serve 3β4 persons for judging and display.

No advance preparation is allowed. All ingredients must be raw upon inspection. Cleaning, peeling, slicing, and all food preparation must be done at the venue during the official cooking time.

Teams must bring their own cooking equipment, portable stove, utensils, cookware, chopping board, and serving plates.

β οΈ POINT DEDUCTIONS
β’ 1 point deduction for every minute of late submission.
β’ 5 points deduction for exceeding the β±500 budget.
β’ 10 points deduction for bringing pre-cooked, pre-chopped, or pre-prepared ingredients.
