The Office of the General Services Officer successfully conducted its Staff Development Activity on May 28, 2026, at the RTNHS Gymnasium. The activity featured a benchmarking session on Gender Sensitivity, Gender-Responsive Programs, and the implementation of the Safe Spaces Act in the Local Government Unit (LGU) setting.

We were honored to have Atty. Andrea Lizares-Si as our resource speaker, who shared valuable insights and practical perspectives on creating a more inclusive, respectful, and gender-responsive workplace. Her expertise greatly enriched the discussion and strengthened our understanding of the importance of promoting safe spaces within government institutions.

This meaningful activity reflects our continued commitment to professional growth, gender equality, and the delivery of responsive and people-centered public service.

Today marks a significant milestone as the newly elected officers of the Philippine Association of General Services Officers, Inc. – Negros Island Region were formally inducted on March 19, 2026, at Alessandro Exclusive in Guihulngan City.

The new set of officers, representing various cities and municipalities through their respective Offices of the City General Services Officers, officially took their oath before the Acting City Mayor of Guihulngan, Hon. Ana Eunica Beatriz L. Reyes.

We are also proud to share that our OCGSO Department Head, Engr. Leo Pahilanga, has been elected as a Member of the Board of Directors.

Also present to witness this occasion were Mr. Noel Quillain and Mr. Anthony Pergamino, both personnel from the Office of the City General Services Officer.
