Bowas-Sinto Farmers SLPA Launches LPG Retail Project in Sinto
The Bowas-Sinto Farmers SLPA, a Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) association under the Department of Social Welfare and Development, successfully launched its Retail Sale of LPG Tank with Refill project in Sinto, Bauko this morning.
The initiative was initiated by the Office of Congressman Maximo Y. Dalog Jr. and implemented through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Government of Bauko, via the MSWD Office, SWAD-Mountain Province, and the Office of the Congressman.
Representing Congressman Dalog, Dionisio K. Wacdisen conveyed his message of support and encouragement to the association. Also present were Mayor Randolf T. Awisan and MSWD Officer Marichu C. Cominga, who shared valuable guidance on sustaining the business and strengthening unity within the association.
Association President Mrs. Nobelita Bas-ilan expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Congressman Dalog, the Municipal Government of Bauko, and the MSWD Office for their unwavering support, emphasizing that the project is a big help to the members and the community.
An representative from SWAD–Mountain Province, PDO Jussel B. Teo-adan, also discussed the monitoring phase of the program, explaining the importance of proper documentation, compliance, and continuous assessment to ensure the project’s sustainability and success before and after the Ani Phase.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Dionisio K. Wacdisen and Mayor Awisan, marked another significant step in promoting sustainable livelihood and community empowerment in Bauko.
