The Birth of Bais City Division

The Division of Bais City was established in June 21, 2003 as an interim schools division. Being a new born division, its operations were still under the umbrella of Negros Oriental Division. The Interim Chief and the first Schools Division Superintendent, was Mr. He is a native of Calasga-an, and Tamisu, Bais City. Andong, together with the designated education pr

ogram supervisors and the rest of the interim division personnel, worked hard for the development of the interim schools division. They focused on establishment of new high schools in the hinterlands. On July 24, 2003, the Interim City Schools Division of Bais was established and became separated from the mother division of Negros Oriental. However, it is still a part of the SEDIP Implementation projects of the Negros Oriental Division.

DepEd Bais Serves Up Wellness With New Pickleball Court

With their pickleball attire and eagerness to play, the Schools Division of Bais City launched its enhanced wellness program for division personnel Tuesday at its new pickleball court on the roof deck of the division office.

SDS Dr. Bernadette Susvilla (Ade Tte) and ASDS Dr. Nilita Ragay led the lunch and inaugural games, along with SGOD Chief Emmanuel Garcia, CID Chief Arnulfo Adana and Division Sports Coordinator Ma. Maya Regala.

Division personnel wore sports attire for the opening program, with six pairs serving as pickleball models. Under the division's wellness program, personnel can now play pickleball on the roof deck, inspired by the Department of Education regional office led by Director Ramir Barberan Uytico.

Dr. Susvilla said the division will get a trainer for new players, in hopes of fostering a healthy environment at the workplace through pickleball and other sporting activities.

Bibo at Makulay na Pampinid na Programa ng Buwan ng Wika

Napakabibo ng naging pampinid na programa ng Schools Division of Bais City para sa Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa at Kasaysayan. Sa isang simpleng pagtitipon, binigyang-diin ng pamunuan ng SDO Bais City ang kahalagahan ng isang buwang selebrasyon na layong palawakin ang kaalaman at pagmamahal ng mga Baisanon sa wika at kasarinlan.

Ayon kay CID Chief Arnulo Adana, ang wika at kasaysayan ay magkakambal ang kahalagahan at ang nagdaang Buwan ng Wika ay nararapat para sa mga mag-aaral.

Maikli man ang pampinid na programa, naging makulay at puno ng hiyawan ang mga patimpalak na pinangunahan ng Bisor ng Filipino na si G. Cristy Jabonillo. Moderno ang naging mga trivia, batay sa sinauna at bagong kasaysayan tulad ng mga trending na salita at ang kahulugan nito sa makabagong panahon, at iba pa.

Tinapos ang programa nina SGOD Chief Emmanuel Garcia, ASDS Nilita Ragay, Chair Adana, at SDS Bernadette Susvilla (Ade Tte) sa pamamagitan ng isang makabagong pakulo tungkol sa mga akronim na kalimitang ginagamit ng mga kabataan gaya ng LOL (Laughing Out Loud), FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), IMO (In My Opinion), at iba pa. Pinanalo ito ng koponan mula sa SGOD.
