The Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) of Negros Oriental successfully conducted its Regular Meeting presided over by NORPPO Provincial Director PCOL Timmar J Alam. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Negros Oriental, headed by Provincial Director Farah Diba G. Gentuya, served as the Secretariat, providing technical and administrative support throughout the meeting on June 3, 2026, at Maringal Hall, NOrPPO, Agan-an, Sibulan.
Bringing together key member agencies and stakeholders to discuss matters vital to the maintenance of peace, order, and public safety in the province.
The meeting featured updates on the current peace and order situation from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Dr** Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and other PPOC member agencies. Discussions also covered significant agenda items, including the status of the submission of the FY 2026 Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan Program of Works, the initial and unofficial results of the Anti-D*** Abuse Council assessment, and Provincial Management Coordinating Council Resolution No. 1, Series of 2026.
Through collaborative dialogue and inter-agency coordination, the PPOC continues to strengthen efforts toward promoting a safer, more secure, and resilient Negros Oriental for all its constituents.
