BALAOAN TUPAD IN ACTION

The 250 beneficiaries of the TUPAD Program are actively carrying out 20 days of community work in Balaoan, La Union, from September 11 to 30, 2026.

As part of the program, beneficiaries are engaged in various community-based activities, including river clean-up, dredging and declogging of canals, community vegetable gardening, clean-up drives, removal of non-biodegradable debris and driftwood, grass cutting, and tree planting.

The initiative is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Local Government of Balaoan, headed by Mayor Carlo Castor U. Concepcion, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Office of the Representative of the 1st District of La Union, Hon. Paolo P. Ortega.
