2 days after Uwan’s wrath, that rainbow appeared at 6 AM early this morning. Lagi itong nangyayari tuwing kakatapos ng bagyo. A God's reminder that after every storm, there’s always hope and calm waiting to shine through, and that we should continue protecting Mother Nature for us to witness another rainbow after every typhoon; otherwise, one day, there might be no rainbow left to see but only storms without end.

Every peso of ayuda sold to buy a vote becomes a flood that drowns the poor.

Stop the cycle: Every election, the same pattern repeats. Politicians handing out money and ayuda only to steal much more once in power. A vote for the money-politicians doesn’t just put them in office; it becomes a flood against the poor, drowning the very people who trusted them. These officials drain Filipino money not to serve but to keep themselves afloat in politics, leaving the poor to suffer in floods, hunger, and broken promises. Because of this, I can no longer put my faith in politics as it is today, but I still believe in the power of the people: we must open our eyes, reject money politics, and refuse to be deceived again if we are to break free from the corruption that keeps us sinking.
