The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Ilocos Sur headed by PD Randy S. Dela Rosa, CESO V, has earned recognition as a Regional Qualifier for the 2026 CSC Gawad Lingkod Bayani under the Gawad Pagasa Category, marking another significant milestone in the Provincial Officeโs continuing pursuit of excellence, innovation, and responsive public service.
Gawad Pagasa is one of the three awards under the CSC's Gawad Lingkod Bayani, recognizing superior work performance and outstanding contributions benefiting more than one government department. The qualification underscores the collective efforts of the DILG Ilocos Sur Team in delivering quality technical assistance, strengthening local governance, and developing innovative interventions that create meaningful and sustainable impact among local government units and communities.
The award was received by PD Dela Rosa, the team leader and members, CH Aprille Regina P. Guerrero, PM Cynthia Martha P. Pe Benito, LGOO VI/MLGOO Francis Jayson C. Raquel and LGOO VI/MLGOO Liana M. Lalata on September 21, 2026 at the Pro Tempore, Francisco I. Ortega, Convention Center.
For DILG Ilocos Sur, being named a regional qualifier for Gawad Pagasa is not only a recognition of its accomplishments but also an affirmation of the value of its people-centered approach to public service.
