Human sa dugay nga paghulat ug paningkamot, finally naa na gyud!

Dako kaayong pasalamat kang Cebu Gov. Pamela Baricuatro sa paghatag ug ₱2 Million para sa road concreting project sa atong pinalanggang Barangay Mojon.

Ako mismo magsiguro nga dili masayang kining proyekto ug magamit gyud para sa kaayohan sa atong katawhan. Para ni sa akong mga constituents, para kaninyong tanan kining akong paningkamot.

Please be informed that the DENR PENRO Cebu and CENRO Cebu City, in collaboration with the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and the LGUs, will conduct the DENR Express: Permitting on Wheels/Information Caravan in Bantayan Island. This initiative aims to bring the DENR services closer to the public, particularly to the Bantayanons.

Date: May 11-12, 2026
Venue: Santa Fe Sports Complex, Poblacion, Santa Fe, Cebu

Services:
1. Forestry Permits (Chainsaw registration, Tree cutting application acceptance, etc.)
2. Land Titling Assistance
3. Land and Lot Status inquiries
4. Protected Area Concerns / SAPA (Initial Assistance and Guidance)
5. Free Legal Consultation on Environmental- Related Concerns
6. Tree Planting Inquiries and Technical Assistance
7. Wildlife related inquiries (permits, turnover, etc.)
8. Seedling Distribution
9. EMB permits and inquiries

Good day, everyone.

We’re happy to share some good news for our community. Kapitan Meluna “May Layao” Batolbatol of Barangay Mojon has been recognized as one of the Top Performing Punong Barangays in Bantayan based on the 2025 year-end assessment, with a rating of 89.60% (Top 9).

This result reflects the consistent effort of the barangay in areas such as peace and order, basic services, disaster preparedness, financial management, and transparency in governance.

This recognition also belongs to the people of Barangay Mojon whose support and cooperation continue to help move the community forward.

We will continue to work hard to serve you better.
