INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP 2026

The Municipality of Baras successfully conducted the International Coastal Cleanup 2026 at Puraran, Baras, Catanduanes, in support of efforts to protect and preserve the coastal and marine environment.

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) extends its appreciation to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), volunteers, and partner organizations for their active participation and continued support.

Through collective action and shared responsibility, we can help maintain clean, safe, and sustainable coastal communities.

Distribution of Waste Segregation IEC Materials

As part of the implementation of the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Program, SPES participants conducted the distribution of IEC Materials on Proper Waste Segregation on June 23, 2026, at the Baras Public Market, Poblacion Area, Baras, Catanduanes.

This activity aims to promote environmental awareness and encourage residents, vendors, and marketgoers to practice proper waste segregation in support of a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.
