Before she was known as a dedicated public servant, Councilor Winet Sabas-Quidang was smashing records, literally, on the badminton court.

Yep, you heard it right. ๐‘ช๐’๐’–๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’๐’๐’“ ๐‘พ๐’Š๐’๐’†๐’• ๐’Š๐’” ๐’‚ ๐’•๐’“๐’–๐’† ๐’‚๐’•๐’‰๐’๐’†๐’•๐’†! ๐Ÿ’ช Back in high school, she was crowned ๐‘ท๐’“๐’๐’—๐’Š๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ด๐’†๐’†๐’• ๐‘ช๐’‰๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‘๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐’Š๐’ ๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’…๐’Ž๐’Š๐’๐’•๐’๐’ ๐’”๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’๐’†๐’” and proudly represented the Division of Ilocos Norte in the IRAA (now R1AA).

Her athletic journey didnโ€™t stop there. After six years of hiatus from public office, ๐‘ช๐’๐’–๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’๐’๐’“ ๐‘พ๐’Š๐’๐’†๐’• ๐‘บ๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’” ๐‘ธ๐’–๐’Š๐’…๐’‚๐’๐’ˆ formally took her seat once again as she attended the inaugural session of the 7th Sangguniang Panlungsod.

With renewed commitment and a deep sense of duty, Councilor Quidang returns to the legislative body ready to serve, listen, and contribute to meaningful legislation that will uplift the lives of our constituents. Her experience, grounded leadership, and passion for public service will surely be a valuable asset to the City Council.
