At 9:40 PM today, the center of the eye of Super Typhoon PEPITO made landfall in the vicinity of Panganiban, Catanduanes.

May 21, 2024- The Municipal Development Council of Batad met this morning for a number of agenda including the approval of the 2025 Annual Investment Program (AIP) of the municipality.

During this meeting, the Punong Barangay and CSO representatives actively participated in the discussion of various matters such as the identification of PPAs to be included in the AIP, and the identification of possible solutions to problems and issues affecting the barangays.

The Local Government Unit of Batad, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Batad, in partnership with SMC Manpower Agency Philippines Company conducted a Special Recruitment Activity (SRA) last January 29-30, 2024 at Batad Municipal Hall, Poblacion Batad Iloilo.

The SRA solicited a total of 717 Job Vacancies.
Nineteen (19) applicants were interviewed, Ten (10) were qualified, & One (1) was Hired on the Spot (HOTS).
