Sumailalim sa isang komprehensibong Boo Boo Safety and Child Care Safety Training Workshop March 31, 2026, ang mga Child Development Workers mula sa 107 Early Child Care and Development Centers , Pinangunahan ang pagsasanay ni Ms. Cherryl C. Barber, isang accredited Occupational Safety and Health consultant, layunin nito na mabigyan ang mga kalahok ng kaalaman at kasanayan sa pagtiyak ng mas ligtas at mas malusog na kapaligiran para sa mga bata.

The Local Government Unit of Batangas City through the Office of the City Social Welfare and Development Officer re-affirmed its commitment to protection and safeguarding of children in the 2026 Regional OSAEC Summit held on March 26, 2026 at Makati City. The summit was attended by different social welfare and development agencies and LGUs of CALABARZON specifically LGUs of Batangas City, Dasmariñas City and Bacoor City.

The CSWD Officer, Ms. Hiyasmin A. Candava and Social Welfare Officer II, Ms. Rosalyn A. Cepillo received the Certificate of Membership in the Strong Network of Care (NOC) CALABARZON. The Department of Social Welfare and Development and International Justice Mission established a partnership to create the NOC, a mechanism designed to promote efficient and effective communication, coordination and collaboration among government, non government and private service providers. Today, the Network of Care CALABARZON continues to grow as a community of service providers delivering a comprehensive care and support to victim-survivors of Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and their families. The certification affirms the Local Government Unit’s efforts in advancing comprehensive care and support for victim-survivors of OSAEC and their families in the region.

Ang Local Government ng Batangas City sa pamamagitan ng Office of the City Social Welfare and Development Officer ay kaisa sa pagdiriwang ng 30th Observance of the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week ngayong Marso 22-28, 2026 na may temang: “𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗼, 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗼: 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗮.”
