The 59th Infantry (Protector) Battalion, Philippine Army has jurisdiction over the 1st and 2nd district of Quezon to include the whole Province of Batangas and Magallanes and Maragondon both of Cavite. It is the unit supervising and directing security operations against threat groups in these areas in order to sustain peace and development.
