The 1st Quarter Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Meeting was successfully conducted on March 26, 2026, gathering youth leaders and representatives from various organizations in the Municipality of Bato. The meeting served as a vital platform for collaboration, dialogue, and planning toward strengthening youth participation in local governance.
During the session, the council discussed pressing concerns faced by youth organizations, both within their respective institutions and across the municipality. These conversations highlighted the importance of unity, responsiveness, and proactive leadership in addressing the evolving needs of the youth sector.
In preparation for upcoming initiatives, the council also laid out its initial plans for the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026. The discussion focused on developing meaningful programs and activities that will engage, inspire, and empower young people in the community.
A significant highlight of the meeting was the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation to the graduating SSLG Presidents, recognizing their invaluable contributions as members of the LYDC. Their dedication and service have played a key role in advancing youth development efforts in Bato.
The council also formally welcomed the newly elected SSLG Presidents, who will now serve as new members representing their respective school-based youth organizations. Their inclusion marks a renewed commitment to leadership continuity and active youth involvement.
