The center of Tropical Storm PILANDOK was estimated based on all available data at 1,050 km Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (26.8°N, 129.8°E) (OUTSIDE PAR).

Maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 90 km/h, and central pressure of 992 hPa

TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
• Outside the PAR, PILANDOK will continue moving generally northwestward towards southern Japan. Beginning tomorrow (04 September) until Sunday (06 September), it will remain almost stationary then move generally southward, looping over the area of Okinawa-Amami islands. By Monday (07 September), it will move generally southeastward before turning northeastward by Tuesday (08 September).
• PILANDOK is forecast to remain as a tropical storm throughout the entire forecast period.

Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials. PDRRMO ng Pangasinan at Tarlac, Nag-Courtesy Call at Nag-augment sa Bayambang

Bilang tugon sa kahilingan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bayambang, dumating ang Pangasinan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) upang magsagawa ng augmentation at karagdagang suporta sa bayan dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng tubig ng Agno River, na dulot ng patuloy na pag-ulan at pagpapakawala ng tubig mula sa San Roque Dam.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bayambang kay PDRRMC Chairperson Governor Ramon “Mon-Mon” Guico III, gayundin kina PDRRMO Col. Rhodyn Luchinvar O. Oro, Assistant PDRRMO Avenix S. Arenas, at Head of Operations Vincent Jun Chui, sa kanilang agarang pagtugon at pakikipag-ugnayan upang makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng kaligtasan ng mga Bayambangueño.

Samantala, dumating din sa Bayambang ang Tarlac PDRRMO, kasama ang Capas CDRRMO at Camiling DRRMO, sa direktiba ng kanilang PDRRMC Chairperson Governor Christian “Tell” Yap, upang magsagawa ng search and retrieval operations para sa dalawa pa nilang constituents na patuloy na pinaghahanap matapos na mahulog ang sinasakyan sa naputol na tulay sa kanolang bayan. Natagpuan ang isa sa mga biltima sa Barangay San Vicente, Bayambang, Pangasinan noong September 1, 2026.

Sa gitna ng ganitong sitwasyon, muling pinatutunayan ng mga DRRM responders mula sa iba't ibang lalawigan ang kahalagahan ng bayanihan, koordinasyon, at pagtutulungan upang maprotektahan ang buhay at matulungan ang mga komunidad na apektado ng sakuna.
