This International Youth Day, the Youth for Development (YFD) Baybay joins young people across the world in celebrating the power of youth to dream, lead, and create meaningful change. With this year’s theme, “Different Contexts, Same Aspirations,” we are reminded that while our experiences may differ, our hopes remain connected—to be heard, to be valued, to be empowered, and to have a seat in shaping the future.

We may be young, but our voices carry purpose. We may still be learning, but we are already leading. Let us continue turning our ideas into action, our voices into advocacy, and our dreams into change.

Because the future is not something we simply wait for—it is something we build together.

"The strength of a leader is revealed not when the path is easy, but when challenges arise and commitment remains unwavering." 💙✨

After being rescheduled several times due to unforeseen circumstances, the Division Federated Supreme Secondary Learner Government (DFSSLG) of the Schools Division Office of Baybay City successfully conducted its 2nd Virtual Meeting on August 7, 2026, via Google Meet.

More than just a virtual gathering, the meeting reflected the resilience and dedication of learner leaders who remained steadfast despite the changes in schedule. It was graced by Dr. Jo-Ann Cerna-Rapada, SGOD Chief of the Schools Division Office of Baybay City, whose inspiring message encouraged the federation to continue leading with integrity, collaboration, and purpose.

The meeting reaffirmed the federation's commitment to empowering learners, strengthening student leadership, and advancing meaningful initiatives across the division. Indeed, delays may have changed the schedule, but they never changed the mission.

Because true leadership is not about perfect timing—it is about showing up, staying committed, and continuing to serve.

𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢: 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝘂𝘂𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘆.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026, kaisa ang Youth for Development (YFD) Baybay sa pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino bilang puso ng ating pagkakakilanlan at mahalagang kasangkapan sa makabagong panahon.

Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” ipinapaalala sa atin na ang teknolohiya ay higit na makapangyarihan kapag ginagamit upang palawakin ang kaalaman, isulong ang pananaliksik, at patatagin ang ating kultura—hindi upang palitan ang ating wika, kundi upang lalo itong mapagyaman.

Nawa'y maging inspirasyon ang bawat kabataan na gamitin ang wikang Filipino nang may dangal, talino, at pananagutan. Sa bawat salitang ating binibigkas at isinusulat, binibigyang-buhay natin ang ating kasaysayan at hinuhubog ang kinabukasan ng bayan.

Ang wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang daluyan ng komunikasyon—ito ang tinig ng ating pagkatao, kultura, at pagkakaisa.
