📢 EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

The Barangay Local Government Unit of Don Domingo Maddela, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, is now accepting applicants for the Educational Assistance Program.

Priority beneficiaries are five (5) incoming 4th/5th year college or graduating college students who are bona fide residents of the barangay.

Priority shall be given to children of OFWs affected by the Middle East conflict and children of transport drivers, if available within the barangay.

‼️Interested applicants are advised to submit the complete requirements to the Barangay Office on or before May 25, 2026 until 5:00 PM only. Kindly look for Ms. Frances Mary Jean C. Tugab, Barangay Secretary, for the submission of documents.

‼️Furthermore, all applications will still undergo screening and evaluation. Submission of requirements does not guarantee approval or grant of educational assistance.

BARANGAY DDM HOLDS CLEANUP DRIVE FOR THE MONTH OF PLANET EARTH.

The Barangay Council of Don Domingo Maddela (DDM), Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, under the leadership of Hon. Patricio D. Fernandez, Punong Barangay, conducted a cleanup drive on April 22, 2026 across Puroks 1 – 7.

The activity was held in line with Presidential Proclamation No. 1482, dated April 10, 2008, which declares the month of April of every year as the “Month of Planet Earth,” with the theme, “Our Power, Our Planet.”

Barangay officials, volunteers, and residents gathered for cleanup drive that began at 6:00 a.m., aiming to promote environmental awareness and maintain cleanliness throughout the barangay.

Hon. Ma. Aurora B. Macaraeg, Chairperson of the Committee on Environment, spearheaded the activity, leading efforts to ensure successful implementation of the initiative. #

Barangay Multi-purpose Hall Turned Over in Don Domingo Maddela

BAYOMBONG, NUEVA VIZCAYA – March 23, 2026 — Barangay officials and stakeholders formally turned over and inaugurated the newly constructed “Construction/Upgrading of Barangay Multi-purpose Hall” in Don Domingo Maddela on Monday, March 23, providing the community with a venue for meetings, events, and programs. The ceremony was held at the multi-purpose hall grounds, marking the completion of a project aimed at improving local facilities and promoting community development.

The program opened with an invocation led by Pastor Leopoldo Camposa Jr., followed by an opening message from Hon. Silver M. Jerusalem, Barangay Kagawad.

Hon. Patricio D. Fernandez, Punong Barangay, delivered the acceptance message, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the project and highlighting its significance to the barangay’s development.

Messages of support were given by Mrs. Perlita Atendido, representing Hon. Atty. Jose Jing V. Gambito; Hon. Magtanggol N. Lantion, Sangguniang Bayan Member; and Ms. Desiree B. Baldevino, EA Acting Manager, Didipio Mine. Each speaker emphasized the value of collaboration in delivering community projects.

The ceremony included the awarding of the certificate of acceptance, followed by the formal turnover and ribbon-cutting, officially opening the multi-purpose hall for public use.

Synchronized Barangay Assembly Held in Don Domingo Maddela

BAYOMBONG, NUEVA VIZCAYA – March 22, 2026 — The Synchronized Barangay Assembly for the first semester of 2026 was held at the United Methodist Christian School, Quezon Street, Don Domingo Maddela, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The assembly provided barangay officials and residents an opportunity to discuss programs, projects, and community issues under the Local Government Code.

The event featured resource speakers including Mr. Romeo D. Reyes, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO); Mr. Jenkins C. Ampat, Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer III (LDRRMO III); and FO3 Marissa S. Sagaysay and FO1 Rose Ann P. Cabanting, both representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Bayombong.

Attending the assembly were Mr. Policarpio Garing, representative of the Congressman; Hon. Ramon Dudung T. Cabauatan, Jr., Vice Mayor; Hon. Emery D. Melad, Sangguniang Bayan Member; Mr. Leopoldo Daulayan, newly elected Director of Nuvelco; Victor Gines, who served as Provincial President of the Liga ng mga Barangay and was an ex‑officio member of the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Board from 2018 to 2023; and Hon. Carlo Gines, SK Federation President.

The assembly provided a platform for officials to report accomplishments, present future plans, and address issues raised by residents. Speakers stressed the importance of active participation, preparedness, and cooperation between officials and community members to improve barangay governance.

Organizers said the session aimed to strengthen local governance, promote transparency, and ensure alignment with municipal and provincial development priorities. #
