A Low Pressure area (LPA 09a) is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR and has a "MEDIUM" potential of developing into tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from PAGASA-DOST.

As of 2:00 PM today, 3 September 2026, LPA 08m has dissipated.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm “PILANDOK” and Tropical Storm “SAUDEL” (formerly “OBET”) are being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Schools shall continue implementing alternative learning modalities to ensure the continuity of learning in accordance with DepEd policies and guidelines.

As per monitoring, inclement weather still persists in the municipality, and its effects continue to pose risks to our learners.

The MDRRMC Chairperson and Municipal Mayor, Hon. Franklin L. Smith, directed the declogging of canals from Km. 51 towards Km. 49, Paoay, Atok, Benguet along the Baguio-Bontoc Road as a continuing preventive measures due to the constant rainfall that has been causing water run-offs that affects the residents nearby.

We acknowledge the partnership with the Municipal Employees- volunteers, Atok Fire Station, Atok Municipal Police Station, and DPWH-BSDEO and the active participation of Barangay Paoay DRRMC for the prompt response.
