#𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗞 | Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, through Executive Order No. 2026-55, has ordered the suspension of 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗦 (𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲) across the Province of Benguet on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 6, 2026, due to the effects of Tropical Storm "MAYMAY" (KUJIRA).

Residents are advised to remain vigilant, avoid non-essential travel, and monitor official weather advisories. For emergencies or weather-related concerns, please contact your respective Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs).

During the conduct of the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held at Kawal Elementary School on June 18, 2026, learners, teachers, and staff actively participated in a series of structured safety activities, including the proper ex*****on of the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique, organized evacuation from classrooms to designated safe areas, headcount procedures, and the simulation of emergency response scenarios. School personnel demonstrated coordinated efforts in guiding the learners, ensuring orderly movement, and reinforcing awareness of disaster preparedness protocols. The activity aimed to strengthen the school community’s readiness, promote a culture of safety, and enhance collective resilience in the event of an earthquake.
